With years of athletic experience and a passion for the outdoors, I, Coach Martin have become a cornerstone in the local fitness community. As the founder of Cycle Burlington and co-founder of STAC Hamilton, my mission has always been clear: to inspire others to get outside, explore the beauty of our trails, and build a community of outdoor enthusiasts who support each other.

APPROACH

Martin’s approach to coaching is as genuine as it is effective. He’s not only dedicated to helping others reach their running and cycling goals—whether it’s learning to run, achieving a personal best in a 5K, half marathon, or even a 50K or 100K—but also to nurturing a  supportive, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. His extroverted, engaging personality draws people in, creating a space where newcomers and seasoned athletes alike feel encouraged and motivated.

Chasing a personal best or eyeing a specific race? The road running programs are built to help you achieve your goals and find success on race day! These programs combine running with targeted strength training to build a solid foundation, keeping you injury-free and ready to tackle the miles ahead. We’ll integrate hill work to build power, speed sessions to boost pace, and endurance runs to improve stamina. All key elements to help you reach your peak.


Each week, you’ll follow a carefully structured plan designed to help you progress safely and steadily, with performance tracking so you can see your growth along the way. I’ll be right there with you, providing feedback, support, and motivation as we work together toward your personal best. Whether it’s a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon, these programs will equip you with the skills, resilience, and confidence to reach new heights in your road running journey.

Ready to push past limits and tackle the world of ultra running? These programs are crafted to build the endurance, resilience, and mental toughness needed to complete incredible distances. Whether you’re aiming for a 50k, 100k, or even a 100-mile race goal, ultra running is a test of both body and mind. These programs will guide you in building the solid base, strength, and endurance required to achieve your ultimate running dreams.


We’ll incorporate strength training tailored for ultra distances, helping to keep you injury-resistant and strong throughout those intense, long-distance efforts. Nutrition will also play a key role, and we’ll work on strategies to fuel your body for peak performance over hours, or even days, of running. From working on tired legs to tackling challenging terrains, you’ll learn to break through physical and mental barriers that once seemed insurmountable.


Each run, workout, and milestone is an opportunity to tap into a deeper level of mental grit and resilience, as you discover how to embrace the discomfort and push beyond.
